Blankets With Heart
Have some spare time and some material that is collecting dust in the corner? OK, I know how it is with the “free” time, however, remember that material that you got a great deal on and is just aching for that perfect project? Project Linus is one of the coolest organizations around and has warmed many a heart following through with their mission statement. A large number of our customers already actively participate by donating their time and blankets but Project Linus is 100% volunteer-run and more blankets (and “Blanketeers”) are always welcome. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Project Linus’ mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
