Project Linus is one of the coolest organizations around and has warmed many a heart following through with their mission statement. A large number of our customers already actively participate by donating their time and blankets but Project Linus is 100% volunteer-run and more blankets (and “Blanketeers”) are always welcome. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Project Linus’ mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
I feel that an introduction is in order. My name is Mike Guccione. I created Sewforless.com way back in August of 2000 (where does the time go? :)). Our goal was to create an extension of our brick and mortar embroidery and sewing store, and here we are!
